Volunteer 

Coaches and Volunteers are a valuable resource for our organization. Without you, we would not be able to successfully conduct our youth programs and fund raisers. We have three volunteering tracks:

Fundraising & Event Support (FES)

We support all aspects of our program with funds raised through donations and our fund‐raising events. In order to successfully execute those efforts, our FES team coordinates outreach to corporate and business partners as well as individual program supporters. They also support the operations of our fundraising events.

Technical Coach (TC)

Technical Coaches assist with teaching introductory golf to beginners and skill development during group and individual learning sessions and clinics. TC’s also mentor new and aspiring coaches into the program. Persons applying to volunteer as a TC will have their golf skills accessed prior to working with our youth.

Ongoing Program Support (OPS)

Our Ongoing Program support Team executes the administrative requirements of the Golf For Life program. The OPS team helps register participants, ensure Covid protocols are followed, provides communications to instructors and participants, retrieve baskets of golf balls and assure equitable distribution, assist coaches as needed, etc.

Technical Coaches and the Ongoing Program Support team should have a desire to work with youth and have a caring, patience personality. All volunteers working directly with our youth must complete a background check and screening process, which may include an interview about your skills and interests. Information on completing background check will be provided upon receipt of the volunteer application form.
